Achill Field School offer 1/2 -Day, 1-Day and Weekend Courses for Secondary School students and Transition Year students that will include the following:

All year round and residential option available.

- Short Introductory lecture to Irish Archaeology

- Workshop on recording procedures with practical demonstrations

- Field Trip to Excavation site to observe and participate in excavation in progress

- Opportunity to learn basic archaeology skills such as troweling, planning and recording

- Tour of archaeological sites in area and / or architectural survey in the Deserted Village of Slievemore

- Fees €30 per person, per day and special offer for Groups of 10 or more persons.
